Our Online Store
Purchasing one of our digital resources entitles you to reproduce pages in limited quantities for single classroom or homeschool use. Purchased products shall be delivered by email to an address entered at the checkout. Local taxes may be payable at checkout before you complete your purchase, depending on your location.

The Literacy Hill Support Service Agreement
Purpose
This agreement is intended to support a positive and collaborative partnership between the student, parent/carer, literacy intervention provider, and school. The shared goal is to develop, support and consolidate knowledge, skills and confidence, so that the student makes meaningful progress in literacy.
Communication and Collaboration
Open and respectful communication is essential. Questions, concerns, or requests should be raised directly and as early as possible so that they can be discussed and addressed constructively.
Where appropriate, I am happy to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, allied health professionals, and schools to support student outcomes.
Professional Judgement
While I welcome input from parents, schools, and other professionals, the literacy intervention program remains my professional responsibility. My professional judgement is informed by more than 20 years of experience supporting students with literacy difficulties and is guided by assessment, evidence-informed practice, and the individual needs of each student.
I will consider school programs, intervention plans, scopes and sequences, assessment data, and recommendations from other professionals. However, I may not always be able to follow another program or course of study exactly, as it may not align with the student's current needs, knowledge, or skill development priorities. My role is to identify knowledge gaps, build background knowledge, scaffold learning, and provide instruction that meets the student's current needs. This may require a different sequence, pace, or focus than what is used at school or recommended elsewhere.
Fees, Payment, Cancellations and Refunds
Considerable time is spent assessing student needs, planning instruction, preparing resources, and developing an appropriate intervention pathway. Fees must therefore be paid before sessions commence. Invoices for the following term are issued at the end of the current term and are payable during the school holidays, before the first session of the following term.
Fees may be paid for the full term or in half-term instalments. If an alternative payment arrangement is required, please discuss this in advance. Where intervention commences after the beginning of a term, the invoice is payable within seven days of the invoice being issued.

Refunds are not available for:

Change of mind

Disagreement with instructional approaches after intervention has commenced

Changes in personal preference

Decisions to discontinue intervention after a package has commenced
Illness and Make-up Sessions
I understand that illness is an unavoidable part of family life. One make-up session per term may be requested when a student is unable to attend due to illness. Make-up sessions are subject to my available timetable. If a make-up session cannot be scheduled due to my timetabling constraints, the missed session will be refunded on the next invoice or, if intervention is not continuing, at the end of the term. Make-up sessions and refunds relating to missed sessions must be used or processed within the same term. They cannot be carried forward into subsequent terms and will otherwise be forfeited.
Exceptional Circumstances
I understand that families sometimes experience significant circumstances beyond their control. Refunds, credits, or the banking of unused sessions may be considered at my discretion in circumstances such as:

Bereavement

Relocation

Extended family emergencies

Other significant and unforeseen events
These situations are assessed individually and are best addressed through open conversation in a timely manner. Open communication is the best method to gain a timely solution.
Raising Concerns
If a parent or carer has questions about intervention, communication, programming, or student progress, please raise these concerns directly. A discussion allows concerns to be understood, questions to be answered, and possible solutions to be explored.
My Commitment to Students
My commitment is to provide evidence-informed literacy intervention that supports each student's literacy development and long-term success. Resources, activities, and coaching are provided to support repeated and cumulative practice between sessions.
Parents, carers, and teachers are encouraged to contact me with any questions about the resources, recommended strategies, or how they should be used. Clarification and guidance will always be provided to ensure resources are used appropriately and consistently.
By engaging literacy intervention services, parents/carers acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this agreement.
